Most of the folks are for some reason hellbent on making hoodies out of A90. This crewneck is way easier to layer in my opinion and can be unzipped for even more ventilation so I went with this option. I'm 5'8, 150 lb, size M fits me well as a base layer or on top of a merino wool base layer.
I was thinking if I should look for 120g fabric but having tried it in the wild, 90 is plenty enough. I felt comfortable on the go in 40 to 65 degrees bracket while on the go.
The build quality is good, nothing to complain about. I was a tad concerned about fabric falling apart under backpack but while you should be careful, it actually is sturdier in person than it looks.
I'm not sure how fast it is going to get smelly, still something to figure out.
Dries real fast. Very light - I don't even need to think if I take it with me or not because like, why not?
The bag it comes with is a nice touch. I use it all the time now to wash delicate stuff and to protect the crewneck from snags and velcros and all the horrors of my backpack.
Thanks folks, really impressed with this garm, sending you rays of love.
